LA-based musician SASAMI has kept good company throughout her musical career. Contributing her skills to projects such as Cherry Glazerr, Avi Buffalo, Hand Habits and Wild Nothing to name a few, SASAMI has just signed to Domino and shared her spellbinding solo debut 'Not The Time'. Channeling the eclectic dream-pop of fellow Domino-signee Melody's Echo Chamber's seminal self-titled album mixed with the iconically cool vocals of Broadcast's Trish Keenan, wailing MBV-inspired guitars and a Neu!-esque driving drumbeat, SASAMI has taken all our favourite things and sewn them together in a way that feels completely fresh. 'Not The Time's equally excellent b-side 'Callous' is a way more chilled out affair, but it's enough to consider us completely enamoured with SASAMI. -Holly Mullineaux
